The Success Coach will provide inspiration and insight to defined students with the goal of helping them stick to the degree plan and progress through courses. The Success Coach will proactively engage with each student once a month to ensure timely progress through the course/degree. In addition, the Success Coach will block off a daily portion of his schedule in order to handle on demand inbound student coaching inquiries curated by the Student Success team.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Effective Student Transition. Takes a newly enrolled student and transitions them right into forward progress on their degree plan.
  • Proactive Student Support. Motivates students to complete courses in a timely manner through proactive monthly phone calls.
  • Reactive Student Support. Helping students resolve challenges that would delay completion of a course.
  • Peer Accountability. Facilitates group interaction between up to 6 students per group in order to expand student awareness and progression. 
  • Meaningful Accountability. Throughout the relationship with the student, proactively triggers students to identify and foresee life obstacles that would slow degree completion. 
  • Self Directed. Possesses a high degree of organization and calendar management that manifests itself through calls made on time every time.
  • Motivational Tone. Persuasively and consistently casts a vision for outstanding student success no matter what obstacle arises in the student’s path.
  • Team Player. Fully leverages the strengths of team members in sales, student services, and research to ensure consistent forward progress for the student.
  • Computer & Technology. Basic technology skills as well as ability to continually learn new programs, systems, and processes.
  • Adaptability. Ability to not only initiate change, but also work with the wider student success team to implement changes initiated by the market.
General Parameters
  • Education. Bachelor's degree required
  • Travel. No travel is anticipated
  • Hours. 8:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M., Monday-Friday with additional time as needed
